Our Story
I’m Brandie, a mom of four—Alison, Danica, Riley, and my youngest, Clementine. Before starting Little Ravens Bamboo, I worked as a medical assistant. When Covid hit, I was laid off due to health issues, and like many families, we faced big changes at home.
When Clementine was born, I chose to cloth diaper her, which led me to discover bamboo fabric. The softness and gentle touch of bamboo was unlike anything you can buy at the store, and soon I was researching all its benefits—especially how amazing it can be for sensitive skin. My older kids struggled with eczema and psoriasis, but Clementine, who wore bamboo clothing for her first three and a half years, never had skin issues.
As I started buying handmade custom bamboo clothes, I realized two things: one, the quality was worth it, but two, it was getting expensive. On top of that, I could never find the darker, moodier prints that matched my style. So in January, I decided to take a leap—found a manufacturer, get licensed, found a great designer and open a shop of my own. On June 6th (my birthday!), we had our very first drop.
Little Ravens Bamboo was born from my love for the comfort and benefits of bamboo, paired with a style that’s a little different from what you’ll find anywhere else. My goal is simple: to share bamboo’s comfort with your little ones while giving families prints that truly fit their style—all year long.
